Anthony Dewayne Hardwick

Mr. Anthony Dewayne Hardwick of Green County, Kentucky, son of the late Charles and Virginia Trowbridge Hardwick, was born on January 22, 1969 in Greensburg, Kentucky. He departed this life on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 in Green County, Kentucky having attained the age of 56 years, seven months and 18 days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Hardwick was employed by Soto Construction and Price Roofing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gathering ginseng, riding motorcycles and mechanic work. Kino, his loyal dog, was spoiled beyond measure by Dewayne.

He is survived by his wife of almost 30 years, Melissa Morgan Hardwick, having united in marriage on December 13, 1995.

In addition to his wife, Melissa Hardwick of Greensburg, other survivors include two sisters and brothers-in-law: Regina and Freddie Robertson, and Tami and Dennis Whitlow, all of Greensburg; nieces and nephews: Craig Robertson, Brandy Whitlow and Edgar Martinez, Amber and Jose Canales, Alicia and Evan Davis, Cody Morgan, and Kayla and Ryan Bailey; plus a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ethel Porter, Cecil and Ethel Trowbridge; and one niece: Megan Dawn Robertson.

The funeral services for Mr. Anthony Dewayne Hardwick will be conducted at 2 PM, Central Time, on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. Bro. Leslie Jewell officiating.

Visitation is requested after 11 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.

Expressions of sympathy are requested to be made in the form of donations towards funeral expenses, which can be made at the funeral home.
