Ms. Betty Lou Carman Perry of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Russell and Evelyn Ruth Compton Carman, was born on December 21, 1949 in Hardinsburg, Kentucky. She departed this life on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at her home having attained the age of 75 years, six months and 15 days.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Pickett’s Chapel Church. Ms. Perry owned and operated an assisted living care home for several years.
Survivors include one son: John Perry; one daughter and son-in-law: Renee and Peewee Lucas; three grandchildren: Macy Rucker, Braxsten Lucas and Lakietha Lucas; one great-grandchild: Colt Yates; three sisters and two brothers: Patsy Hall, Dellie Ford, Anna May Sosh, Jimmy Carman and Bussy Carman; plus a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rebecca Ramsey.
A graveside service for Ms. Betty Perry will be conducted at 12 Noon, Central Time on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at the Locust Hill Church Cemetery in Breckenridge County, Kentucky.
Pallbearers: John Perry, Braxsten Lucas, Peewee Lucas, Mike Lee, Eddie Wayne, Jeremy Shuffett and Neil Mattingly
Arrangements are under the direction of the Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg.
