Clyde William Asbury

Mr. Clyde William Asbury of Louisville, Kentucky, son of the late Osburn Gayle “OG” Asbury and Doris Jean Borders Asbury, was born on October 11, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky. He departed this life on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Norton’s Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky having attained the age of 65 years, four months and 29 days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Asbury was a retired factory worker and enjoyed watching the University of Louisville Cardinals.

Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law: Johnnie Lee and Lisa Asbury of Campbellsville; three sisters and one brother-in-law: Mary Jean Belcher of Brooks, Sarah Louise and Mark Beard of Hillview and Joann Crain of Louisville; plus a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Robert Asbury.

The funeral services for Mr. Clyde Asbury will be conducted at 2 P.M., Central Time, on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the Gupton – Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial to follow in the Kidd Cemetery in Green County.

Visitation is requested after 12 Noon, Central Time, until the time of the service on Wednesday at Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Bailee Asbury, Rex Asbury, Mark Beard, Jr., Robert Cook and Jerritt Glass

Expressions of sympathy are requested to be made in the form of donations to the family burial fund, which can be made at the funeral home.

Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg is in charge of the arrangements.
