Mr. David Lee Tobin of Glasgow, Kentucky, son of the late John Lee and Edna Mae Williams Tobin, was born on October 27, 1948 in Glasgow. He departed this life on Monday, July 3, 2023 at the TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow having attained the age of 74 years, eight months and seven days.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Canaanland Baptist Church.
Mr. Tobin was a former owner and operator of a heavy equipment business. He was an avid lawnmower and truck puller. David had several older model vehicles, which he loved to show at car shows and accumulated numerous trophies. He also enjoyed going to church and loved his church family.
Survivors include his significant other: Angela Mallory of Glasgow; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Dennis and Teresa Tobin of Edmonton, and Donald Tobin of Glasgow; two nieces: Jill Milby of Greensburg and Latisha Milby of Edmonton; two great nephews: Dagyn and Bentley; a very special little boy who he thought the world of: Levi Harris; plus several other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Jeffrey David Tobin.
The funeral services for Mr. David Lee Tobin will be conducted at 3 P.M., Central Time, on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the Canaanland Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is requested from 11 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
