OBITUARY
Mrs. Elvina Turner Marcum 
Elvina was born on June 23, 1942, in Hart County, Kentucky; the middle child of three children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Sopha Lee Turner and brother Charlie Turner.
Elvina professed her faith in Christ at Mt. Zion Separate Baptist Church. She is an alumnus of Hart Memorial High School. Elvina retired from working as a clerk in the Sheriff’s Office in 1999.
Elvina married Ronald Marcum on December 30, 1961, and shared 62 years together enjoying family and friends.
She passed away peacefully on January 13, 2024, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Kentucky surrounded by her family, listening to music.
Elvina is survived by her husband Ronald, daughter Dana (Tim), son Eric, granddaughter Allie, sister Brenda Skaggs (Lynn), three loving sister in laws, dear friend and the best caregiver, Dean Hudgins, her special cousin Rowena and all of her nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral services for Mrs. Elvina Marcum will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Central Time, on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024 at the Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial to follow in the Aetna Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Central Time, at Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg and after 7:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday.  
Expressions of sympathy are requested to be made in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles, which can be made at the funeral home.
Pallbearers: Eric Marcum, Tim Mullens, Allie Kessler, Steve Skaggs, Christian Skaggs, Kayla Miles, Makenna Deaton and Brandon Mullens
Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg is in charge of the arrangements.
