Gary Wayne Clark

Mr. Gary Wayne Clark of Leitchfield, Kentucky, son of Ruth Mae Rogers Clark and the late Ciscero Clark, was born on January 19, 1952 in Hardinsburg, Kentucky. He departed this life on Friday, August 18, 2023 at the Spring View Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield after a lengthy illness, having attained the age of 71 years, six months and 30 days.

He was truck driver for over forty years and was able to see the whole country, along with parts of Canada, through his work. Gary enjoyed life to the fullest.

Besides his mother, Ruth Mae Rogers Clark of Leitchfield, other survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Kimberly and Barry Smith of Hardinsburg; two grandchildren: Zach Smith and Alex Smith; two great-grandchildren: Henley and Maverick; one sister: Bonny Guill of Summersville; special cousin: Stevie Spencer; along with numerous other cousins, relatives and friends.

In accordance with the wishes of Mr. Clark, cremation was chosen by the family. No formal services are scheduled at this time.

Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg is in charge of the arrangements.
