Judith Elaine Blaydes Caven

Judith Elaine Blaydes Caven, age 82 of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2025 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Born on July 26, 1943 in Adair County, Kentucky, she was the beloved daughter of the late Rollin and Rachel Keltner Blaydes, and sister of the late Chesley Robert Blaydes.

Survivors include one daughter: Deborah Elaine Akin Straw (Glen) of Granville, New York; two sisters: Mary Ann Blaydes Baron, and Nancy Blaydes Hudgins (Mitchell) all of Greensburg; niece: Chesla Blaydes Underwood (Jerry); two nephews: Christopher Cushing and Brandon Blaydes; two great nephews: Blayde Fox and River Blaydes; one great niece: Ryan Fox; Judy’s partner: Joseph Wayne Caven; plus a host of other relatives and friends.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Upper Room Harvest Church.

Judy was a source of love to everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The funeral service for Judy Blaydes will be conducted at 2 PM, Central Time, on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at the Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery. Bro. Larry Michael Smith officiating.

Visitation is requested on Sunday after 10 AM, Central Time, until the time of the service at the funeral home.
