Mrs. Linda Leigh Peckinpaugh Neat of the Elkhorn community of Taylor County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Carl Peckinpaugh and Helen Walker, was born on April 21, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky. She departed this life on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at her home having attained the age of 77 years and five months.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Elkhorn Baptist Church.
Mrs. Neat had worked as a home health aide.
Survivors include her husband of almost 31 years, Mr. Wilbert Neat of Elkhorn, having united in marriage on October 6, 1994.
Other survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Carol and Sean Edward, and Sherry Gibson; one son: Rick Miles; three step-daughters and sons-in-law: Janet Altman, Carol and Charles Wickett, Connie and Aaron Walters; one step-son: Jimmy Neat; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law: John and Rachel Peckinpaugh, and Rick Peckinpaugh; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Debbie and Tony Buckler, and Carol and Walter Carwile; plus a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Christina Miles.
Cremation was chosen by the family and no services are scheduled at this time.
Arrangements are in the care of Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg.
