Logan Dile

Mr. James Dillon Logan Dile of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Shreve and Louise Burris Dile, was born on August 7, 1942 in Greensburg, Kentucky. He departed this life on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at the Green River Trails in Greensburg having attained the age of 83 years one month and 23 days.

He worked as a logger for many years and was a former employee of Cox Interior.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Rodney and Paula Dile of Greensburg, and Shaun and Karen Dile of Campbellsville; one sister: Joyce Simpson of Campbellsville; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Charles and Diane Dile, and Johnny Dile all of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law: Evelyn Dile of Greensburg; plus a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother: Kenny Dile; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Sharon and Kenny Cates, and Barbara and Bobby Rayburn; one sister-in-law: Judy Dile; and one brother-in-law: J.R. Simpson.

The funeral service for Mr. Logan Dile will be conducted at 11 AM, Central Time, on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial to follow in Greensburg Cemetery. Bro. Chris Nall officiating.

Visitation is requested after 8:30 AM, Central Time, on Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy are requested to be made in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles and can be made at the funeral home.
