Louis Richards

Mr. Louis Marshall Richards, son of the late Lesley Richards and Mattie Pearl Pierce Richards, was born on April 28, 1951 in Adair County, Kentucky. He departed this life on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Green Hill Nursing and Rehab in Greensburg, Kentucky having attained the age of 72 years, nine months and 18 days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Flatwoods Baptist Church. Mr. Richards was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed working on tractors and trucks.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law: Louis Jr. and Joanna Richards, and Ryan Richards all of Campbellsville, and Les and Tammy Richards of Elkhorn; two daughters and sons-in-law: Serena and Wayne Patton and Tiffany and Virgil Corbin all of Campbellsville; fifteen grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Donald and Direnda Richards of Edmonton and Randy and Lois Richards of Columbia; one brother-in-law: Delbert Darnell of Columbia; plus a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Lexy, one great-granddaughter, Addison, and one sister, Linda Darnell.

The funeral services for Mr. Louis Marshall Richards will be conducted at 3 P.M., Central Time, on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Harrods Fork Baptist Church in Adair County with burial to follow in the church cemetery. 

Visitation is requested after 1:30 P.M., Central Time, on Sunday until the time of the service at the church.

Expressions of sympathy are requested to be made in the form of donations to the family burial fund, which can be made at the funeral home or at the church.
