Marva Faye Pedro Sneed of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Walter and Laverne Logston Pedro, was born on September 11, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky. She departed this life on September 29, 2025 in Greensburg, Kentucky having attained the age of 73 years and 18 days.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ. Faye was employed by Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital for over 25 years. She also enjoyed playing the guitar and singing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claves Sneed, in 2011.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Jason and Brittany Sneed, and Darrell and Amanda Sneed all of Greensburg; grandchildren: Corey and Macy Sneed, Jonathon and Kecia Sneed, Lindsey and Ashley Sneed, Katlyn Young and Joey Brown, Wyatt Judd, Devin Sneed and Gracie Wingler, Chelsey Sneed and Chris Vibbert; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Roy Logsdon of Louisville, and Danny and Patricia Combs of Florida; a special friend: Angela Cox of Greensburg; plus a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by four brothers: Bob, Junior, Jay and Rich.
The funeral service for Faye Sneed will be conducted at 12 Noon, Central Time, on Friday, October 3, 2025 at the Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Adam Pruitt officiating.
Visitation is requested after 9 AM, Central Time, on Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
