"Indian Joe" Roution

“Indian Joe” Roution of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Onie Joseph and Rose Roution, was born on December 28, 1967 in Lapeer, Michigan. He departed this life on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky having attained the age of 56 years, 11 months and 27 days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Joe was a former employee of Nally and Gibson.

He took great pride in caring for his family and spending all the time he could with them.

Survivors include one daughter: Brittany Roution and fiancé Brennan Mattingly of Campbellsville; one grandson: Brylar Mattingly of Campbellsville; one brother: Erb Roution of Greensburg; his life long companion: Michelle Roution; a nephew he loved as a son: Matthew Taylor; a special family friend: Belinda McDonald; plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation is requested from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M., Central Time, on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg. The funeral service will be conducted privately with burial in the Roution Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Erb Roution, Brennen Mattingly, Matthew Taylor, Jason Hill, Jason Rapier and Adam Shirley

Expressions of sympathy are requested to be made in the form of donations towards funeral expenses, and can be made at the funeral home.

Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg is in charge of the arrangements.
