Miss Piper Faith Roskin of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of Austin Roskin and Shannon Thacker Roskin, was born on February 10, 2016 in Edgewood, Kentucky. She passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg having attained the age of nine years, 11 months and 19 days.
She attended Greensburg Baptist Church with her family.
Diagnosed with Angelman syndrome, Piper faced the world with extraordinary strength, a joyful spirit, and a sweetness that touched everyone.
Piper found happiness in simple, beautiful moments—watching Mickey Mouse, cuddling beloved stuffies, and sharing smiles that could light up an entire room. Her laughter, bright eyes, and unmistakable joy were constant reminders of how powerful love can be, even without words.
Survivors include her father and step-mother: Austin Roskin (Kelly) of Greensburg; her mother: Shannon Thacker Roskin of Arkansas; one sister and brother: Keira Roskin and Brantley Roskin; grandfather: Tim Jones of Cave City; grandmother: Susan Helton of Illinois; aunts and uncles: James Trimble, II, James Trimble, III, Cassie White, Jordan Roskin, Chris Roskin, Eric Klette, Sarah Roskin, Joshua Trimble, Betty Stuart and Yvonne Stuart; plus a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Arthur Roskin, her grandmother, Tonya Jones, and her great-grandmother: Rae Trimble.
The funeral service for Miss Piper Faith Roskin will be conducted at 5 P.M., Central Time, on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the Greensburg Baptist Church with Bro. Kenny Craig officiating.
Visitation is requested after 2 PM, Central Time, on Thursday until the time of the service at the church.
Expressions of sympathy are requested to be made in the form of donations to Angelman Syndrome Foundation or the Greensburg Baptist Church, which can be made at the funeral home or the church.
