Ray Bruce Grigsby, Jr.

Mr. Ray Bruce Grigsby, Jr. of Columbia, Kentucky was born on July 30, 1938 in Chester, Pennsylvania to the late Ray Grigsby, Sr. and Flora Moore Grigsby. He departed this life on Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Green Hill Nursing and Rehab Center in Greensburg, Kentucky having attained the age 83 years, five months and five days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ. Mr. Grigsby served his country honorably in the United States Army as a medic stationed in Korea. He was a local farrier and enjoyed spending time on their farm in Adair County.

Survived by his wife of 66 years, Nancy Duval Grigsby, having united in marriage on January 28, 1956.

Other survivors include one brother: John Henry Grigsby of Pennsylvania and three sisters: Betty Sue Grigsby Castle and Mary Helen Grigsby both of Florida and Shirley Marie Grigsby of Pennsylvania; plus a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one sister: Carol Lee Grigsby.

In accordance with Mr. Grigsby’s wishes, there will be no formal services.
